WHY CHRISTIAN LITERATURE OUTREACH EXISTS
Prison Fellowship volunteers and chaplains bring the Gospel into prisons every day. They sit with men and women. They listen. They share hope.
But they can’t be there all the time.
Christian Literature Outreach fills that gap.
For nearly 30 years, this ministry has placed Christian books, devotionals, comics and Bibles directly into the hands of prisoners — resources they can return to again and again.

A prisoner read a Christian book and gave his life to Christ. He was transferred to maximum security… and started a Bible study. Soon, others wanted to be baptised. So they filled a wheelie bin with water — and baptised one another inside prison walls.
This is how the Gospel spreads.
Quietly. Unexpectedly. Powerfully.
